Burgers, Dance Recitals and Blueberries!!

On Friday afternoon, Blake had "Burgers with Dad" at Seven Oaks. Since Patrick was working that day, Jon went to Kenner to have Burgers with Blake. They got to make their own burgers and had chips and lemonade. Blake was excited that Uncle Jon was there with him!

On Friday night, 6-15-12, Madison danced in her second dance recital! She did such a great job! Jon and I really enjoyed being there to watch her - she is getting WAY too big, WAY too fast! Maddie said she wanted to take dancing again next year!

On Saturday morning, Michelle, Patrick, Maddie, Blake, Jon, and I went to the blueberry farm in Covington! We had a lot of fun filling up our own buckets with only the biggest and the best from the bushes!

After picking blueberries, Michelle and Pat had to run some errands. So, while they did that, Jon and I took the kids to eat and play at McDonald's! We were there for a pretty long time and the kids were so good!

An Eventful Week!!!

Where to begin?! This weekwas defiantly CRAZY! We did so much in what little time the week gives us! Monday and Tuesday I did a lot of babysitting!

On Wednesday, My mom, Jess, Jon, and I went to tour Nicholls! I really liked it and think it will be a perfect fit for me! The programs that the school offers are very interesting and look like things I can handle with guidance form my teachers and advisors!

On Thursday night Camille and Jess came over for a girls night! We chit-chatted, cooked, and drank wine! We had a really nice night! I made the appetizer, Jess bought the dinner and Camille made dessert!

On Friday, I Babysat for the Matthew's in the morning and then went off to Kenner to spend time with Michelle and the kids! When I got there I ran an errand with Michelle and picked up the kids from camp. Madison and I went to the mall and she wanted to look at all of the baby clothes! We had fun guessing if the baby will be a boy or girl!

On Saturday, Maddie had dancing in the morning and a birthday party to attend at BooKoo Bounce (which was a lot of fun!). After I left Kenner, Blake and Michelle went to the fire station for a play date with his friends form school.

On Sunday, Jon, Mrs. Angela, and I went to early morning mass and then went to Stacy's to set up for Carter's Christening party! He is such a sweet baby boy! We had a really great time at Stacy's (as usual)! In the evening Jon and I went to Camille's, along with Rob and Taylor, to watch a movie and to have dinner! She cooked Veggie pasta and Asparagus! It was delicious! She also made a blueberry and peach cobbler!

Happy 20th Birthday, Jordan and Rob!!

Tonight Jon and I helped celebrate Jordan's and Rob's 20th Birthday at La Carreta!! It is nice catching up with friends from High School that now live away! Rob goes to school at Notre Dame in Indiana and Jordan goes to Spring Hill in Alabama. Also with us was Camille who is at LSU and Jess, who is still at the good ol' SJA! Dinner was great and the company was even greater! The staff even sang happy birthday (in Spanish) to Rob and Jordan!!

James' Friends and Steven's Birthday

Tonight, we celebrated Steven's birthday with some of his and James' friends. I did a couple hours of cooking in preparation for tonight, and I must say that it was a huge success! Jess, Elise, Adam, and Daniel all came! It is always nice to spend time with people who were so close to James! Steven had Tyler, a roommate, and the roommates girlfriend over also. I decided to make two dishes of chicken enchilada pasta (one plain and one with black beans and corn) and I made one large pan of veggie pasta. I also made a salad with fresh cucumber from Andre's and John's neighbor! Jess made a delicious jello cake for Steven and Elise - for their birthdays! We had a very nice night!

Memorial Day!

I know it's a little late, but I have had very little free time in the past week! Memorial Day was Monday, but Jon and I celebrated it on Sunday at Stacy's house. We had a really nice and relaxing day. We spent all day outside and ordered pizza. We got to spend time with Hayes and Carter (Stacy's Kids) which was a lot of fun! I really wish I had pictures from the day; but since we were in and out of the pool - I didn't want my camera to get wet! I do have pictures of some of the treats that we made for the day... I did not get a picture of the pretzels that Mary made, but they were very cute too!
