HAPPY 6th Birthday, Madison!! I Love You SO Much!!
Today, we celebrated Madison's 6th birthday with her friends and the family. We had such a great day and the rain stayed away! I helped Michelle with a lot of the things and I think that the party went really well! The theme was rainbows! Madison had a blowup water slide and pool that her friends (and their parents) LOVED!!

Summer Vacation With the Bajons

Wow! What a week! I don't think that I have ever relaxed this much in my life! haha! This past week, I went on a 7 day Caribbean cruise with Jon and his parents. We had such a great time! We did a lot of relaxing, eating, sight seeing, and shopping! We also did a ton of fun things on the boat! Getting on the boat for the first time was a little scary... but I soon realized that I didn't even feel that I was on a boat! It was HUGE!! Shops, restaurants, bars, the casino, the art museum, tons of rooms, 2 pools and several hot tubs... I just could not get over the size of the Carnival Conquest! We stopped at 3 ports on the cruise and we had 2 formal nights. We kept pretty busy each day because we tried to do as much as we could from the itinerary. Our 3 ports were (in order): Montego Bay, Jamaica, Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands, and Cozumel, Mexico. In Jamaica, we used a hope on hop off bus service that allowed us to go further into Montego Bay. was a little intimidating because one of our stops was the craft Market where we saw poverty everywhere we looked. I felt so bad for everyone and they begged for me to buy the things that they made. I bought a few things there but just had to stop. I could not buy something from every person on the street! Our second port was Grand Cayman in the Cayman Islands. There, we did our excursion!! We swam with HUGE sting rays! We learned how to pet them properly so that they wouldn't be threatened; I even got to hold one! The one that I held was 5 feet long and weighed 162 pounds! It was GIANT!! After we swam with the stingrays, we went snorkeling and got to see some coral reefs. It was pretty neat! We all seemed to have a great time there! Our last port was Cozumel, Mexico. We did a lot of looking there. I purchased my book sack for next semester, Jon got some hot sauce, and we just soaked in all of the things going on around us! We never ate at the ports because we had the included food on the ship. The food was awesome! We had great breakfasts that included eggs, bacon, toast, danish, coffee, juice, pancakes, cereal, and so much more! Lunch we usually are at the buffet! They had different things every day and it was always good. Dinner included a starter, main dish, and dessert! We had shrimp, lobster, crab, salmon, sushi, pork, chicken, steak, salad, pasta dishes, cakes, custards, ice cream... and the list goes on and on! The second day that we were there, Monday July 16th, we celebrated Jon's 21st birthday. After dinner Jon and I went to the dance club and had a drink. We had a lot of fun dancing and people watching! On our last night, the 21st, we went to the casino. We actually did really well! Jon didn't lose a dime! He played and won back everything he started with! I put $20 into the quarter dozer game and won a stack of 25 - 1 dollar bills! I was SOOOO excited! I felt like I had won a million bucks! Haha! We went to tons of shows, participated in a disco dance class, learned how to fold towel animals, participated in raffles (which we never won - haha), and went to the deck parties! Over all, we had an amazing time! :-)
