Another Fun and Busy Weekend!

This weekend, I did not go home. Instead, I stayed in New Orleans and Jon come here! I love being here on weekends because on weekends there is no routine in the McCrary home. Monday through Friday is complete routine. (Which is not a bad thing!) We all wake up and go to school or work, come home, homework/soccer/workout, fast bath, dinner, quiet time, and bed. Weekends are just so enjoyable! Sleeping in, staying in PJS, birthday parties, activities, playing outside, and going to the grocery store are just a few of the fun things!

This weekend sure was crazy! On Friday after class, I got to do my first observation of the semester at SEAS! Pre-K was so good and they were a lot of fun! Jon came in on Friday evening and we went to have a drink and appetizers at Casa Garcia. I forgot how delicious that place was! Saturday morning we all woke up and got ready for Blake's 4th Birthday Party at BooKoo Bounce. Blake and Madison had so much fun bouncing with friends. Samantha slept the entire time! They served pizza and a double layer cookie cake and Blake got some cool birthday gifts. After the party, Madison had a soccer game where she scored a goal for her team! I am so proud of Maddie and her ability to play hard and still have fun with her friends on the field. Saturday night we went to Candice's house to bounce and celebrate Mardi Gras by watching the Caesar Parade. Blake fell asleep right before the parade started. Madison, on the other hand, was so excited and ready for the parade! She caught tons of beads and trinkets. We watched the bands, dance teams, horses, the army, floats, and clown cars come down the street. We really had a great time!

I only caught the end of "Happy Birthday" But the best is watching Blake blowing out the candles!
