Fall Retreat with SAS

We just got home from the SAS fall retreat. Jon and I had the pleasure of going with the high school youth group and had a great opportunity to each work with a small group. Jon belonged to the yellow group and I was with the pink group. Even though we were only able to stay for 2 days out of the 3, we both really enjoyed our time there. The food that was served was good and the games were fun! We had great speakers who talked about relationships and communication; and one talk about bullying. Our theme for the weekend was "Fearless".

Caribe Resort

THANKS FOR A GREAT WEEK, MOM AND DAD!!!

Last week, Mom and Dad invited the family to go for a week-long trip to Caribe. Although we were not all able to make it, we had a really good time! In fact, we had so much fun at the resort that we didn't even make it to the beach until Thursday!! Jon and I really enjoyed floating in the Lazy River and swimming in all of the pools. For most of the week, it was Mom, Dad, Jon, Me, Andre', and Madison. Michelle, Blake, and Samantha came for the last night of the trip. On this vacation we were pretty Lazy... we ate, swam, shopped, and went to the beach. On Wednesday night, Jon took me out on a really nice date. We went to a restaurant in the Wharf called Villaggio. It was delicious!! I had white truffle honey shrimp on top of roasted tomato Parmesan risotto with haricot vert. Jon had a BBQ Chicken Flat and crawfish arancini. While we were at dinner, they had the light show for the Wharf. It was very entertaining!
