Texas - Day 1 HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

WOW! Today was a VERY long day! Jon, Jess, and I were up and out at 5 this morning to head off to Texas. We maded a few stops along the way. Even with the rain, crazy fog, and Houston interstates, we finaly made it to Austin. We are staying in Austin but we are spending most time in Round Rock. Tonight, to celebrate the New Year, we went out to eat at Moonshine Bar & Grill. It was very good! After dinner we took a walk down 6th street and I hailed down a cab (all by myself!). It is an early night for us! It is 9:30 on New Year's Eve and we are back at the hotel! PJ's on and hopefuly can watch the ball drop! We will see!

Happy Birthday, Jesus!!

Jon and I celebrated midnight Mass at Nativity of our Lord church in Kenner. On Christmas Day, Jon and I drive back to Baton Rouge after Breakfast at Michelle's. We spent the rest of the day at the Matthew's.

Lighting the way for Papa Noel

On Christmas Eve, Jon and I continue with our tradition in going to Lutcher to see the bonfires along the Mississippi River. Tradition shows that the bonfires are lit to light the way for Papa Noel. We go to the Roussel's house for the party.

After the Bonfires, our tradition continues! We spend the night in Kenner at Michelle's. This year was extra special because Samantha James celebrated her very first Christmas. When we wake up in the morning, the kids do a scavenger hunt for their gifts and Patrick makes pancakes!

Happy 25th Birthday, James!

This weekend we celebrated James' birthday in two special ways! On Saturday Night, we celebrated James at the anual League party with a lot of James' friends! Ali and Adam hosted it and it was an enjoyable night. The had lots of fuud and it ws fun to see their new house!

Samantha James is 2 Weeks Old!!!

Samantha is just so sweet and is such a fun new addition to the McCrary household! Madison LOVES to hold her and feed her! She has such a little personality, already! Her facial expressions are priceless and the little sounds that she makes when she sleeps are so sweet! She is a great sleeper and eater and love to have attention!!

White Elephant Christmas Party

Each year, we get together with our "YG" friends who are scatted across the country for school. This year we missed Rob who is at Notre Dame and Jordan who is at Spring Hill. With us was Ellie, Camille (and a friend), Jessica, Alan, Taylor, Jon and Me. We had a great night with great food and hilarious gifts!
