Today we started off very lazy! We all woke up and went down to breakfast at 9:00 and I did a load of laundry (My goal is to have no laundry to do when we get home!). That was our entire morning! We made sandwiches in the room and then we set out to South Congress Street for shopping! We shopped for about 4 hours. It was a lot of fun going though the antique shops and cute boutiques. I am also proud to say that I bought my very own pair of Texas Cowgirl boots! I love them! They are pre-owned boots but they are super comfortable and they were only $20. Since we ate before we left, we had no excuse to eat at any of the taco or snack bars... BUT we did, of course stop at a local ice cream shop that I learned about on the Travel channel! It is called Amy's Ice Cream and it was absolutely fantastic! Jess got Strawberry with M&M's and I got Belgian Chocolate. The flavors were so delicious and Jess and I are planning to go back again this week! After shopping, Mom and Dad arrived... at a different hotel... 6 miles away! We thought they were going to be in the same hotel with us... they they said the hotel was next door... and then realized they were in the same hotel but in downtown Austin! Anyhow, we finally met up with them at Amaya's Taco Village for dinner. It was super delicious and reminded us a bit of El Patio. After dinner, Jon, Jess, and I all went shopping in a strip mall. It had a super sized Target, Party City, and Dollar Tree! When we got back to the hotel we all went and worked out and showered up! We are excited for tomorrow in Round Rock!
