Today, I took pictures for Jessica and her brother, Matt. We mostly did it for Jess' senior pictures. We had a great time and went to lunch at the Times after!

Last night, Jon's cousin, Kevin, got married to Savanah! The wedding and reception were both nice. At the reception, they had great food and a band. We had a lot of fun dancing! After the weding, Jon and I went out with Rhaoul and Katie. My feet were killing me by the end of the night; to say the least!

Date Nights and Hurricanes!!

Where to begin?! Last weekend, Aug 24th - Aug 26th, Jon came to New Orleans to spend some time with me, Michelle, Pat, and the kids! We had a great weekend!! Jon and I took Blake to CiCi's Pizza on Saturday while Madison went to birthday parties! Also with us at CiCi's was Lauren and Lindsey (the twins from across the street). Saturday night, we took the kids to another City Park night for St. Elizabeth. It had rained a lot that day, so we rode each ride once and called it a night! The kids were tired anyway because they had such a long day! After City Park night, Jon and I dropped the kids off at home and we went out on a dinner date to T.G.I.F. Friday's! We had a delicious 3 course meal and a couple of drinks. It was our first time there and we both really enjoyed it!

On Sunday, Jon went home in the morning. My parents came in with Andre', John, and Steven. We all want to Lunch with Erica (A WolrdTeach Volunteer) and her boyfriend, Tyler. We ate at Ralph's on the Park. We had a super nice Brunch/Lunch!

Through the week, we were watching Hurricane/Tropical Storm Issac that was brewing up. Sunday night, I decided to evacuate to Baton Rouge because of the storm. To say the least, I am still in Baton Rouge and plan to go back to New Orleans on Monday for classes to start back up on Tuesday. I hope that all of the flood waters will go down so that I can take I-10 all the way to Kenner!

This weekend has already been FULL of fun! On Friday, Jon and I went to the bank and did a little shopping (Just for FUN) totally a spontaneous thing! We had tons of fun! Today, Saturday the 1st, Jon and I went to eat at Saki Cafe' and went to the grand opening of the new Casino in Baton Rouge! The place was HUGE and overwhelming, but it sure was nice! after we checked it out, we went to the Hollywood casino and had a crab leg buffet dinner! Always a good choice! :-)

On Monday, Jon and I went to Stacy's house for Labor Day. We had a good afternoon of swimming, eating, and visiting. We always have a good time at Stacy's house!

First Day of School

This week, Madison, Blake, and I have all started school! Madison is now in First Grade and Blake, in Kindergarten! Madison seems to really enjoy her teacher and having her friends with her in class! Blake's fist day is today, and he smmes to be super happy to be going to a bigger school! Some of his friends from Seven Oaks will be there too! I am on day 2 of UNO! I am enjoying it so far! I am most excited about my education classes!
