Karli and Matt are Married!!

Congratulations to Karli and Matt on their wedding! It was beautiful! Thanks to Jess for filling in as my date while Jon is not able to be here!

Stillwater, Oklahoma!

This weekend, Mrs. Angela and I helped Jon move to his new apartment in Stillwater. It is such a nice place for him. He will be there for the next 6 months. After a 10 hour drive on Thursday, we got straight to work! we cleaned his already clean room and shopped for food and furniture. We ended the day with delirium and Taco Bell.
On Friday, we spent the day looking for a mattress. We got lucky with the brand new mattress from the Mattress Firm store that didn't even open until Saturday! We put furniture together, and unpacked all of his boxes. For dinner, we went out to Eskimo Joe's. Eskimo Joe's is a local hot spot that was featured on the Food Channel. It was delicious!
On Saturday, Jack arrived to move into his apartment. Mrs. Angela and I went shopping for a little while and after we went to eat at a Mexican restaurant called El Tapitio. It was so cheap and SO delicious!
Sunday we woke up early and Mrs. Angela and I drove back to Baton Rouge. It was hard to leave... but knowing how happy he was helps with the transition!

I am so grateful that I was able to make the trip to help Jon move. He seems like he will be very happy with his new job! Can't wait to hear more from him about his experience!

Thanks to mom and dad for treating us to a delicious lunch on the 9th at Coyote Blues for Jon's send off!

Today I got to meet the sweet girl that is going to marry Sheridan next month. I am so excited to welcome a new member to our family! Aimee is so sweet and her family is great. The shower thrown today at mom and dad's house was a huge success! Welcome to the family, Aimee!

Visiting Family

Today, Jon and I went to Kenner to pick up the kids with Mary Reagan and we took them all to the zoo. We had a great day playing in the cool zoo, floating in the lazy river, and watching the animals! After the zoo, Jon and I went to Lucher to visit MawMaw Rita. Our visit was nice and MawMaw was happy to learn about Jon's new job!

Jon is InterWorks bound!! I am SO proud of Jon for getting such a great job with wonderful traveling opportunities. I know that I will miss him tons when he moves to Oklahoma but I know this opportunity will be a great one!!

Born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Jon is no stranger to heat. He is always looking for new ways to add spice to his life, and working as a BI consultant at InterWorks is just the way to kick things up a notch!

 
Jon became fascinated with logic puzzles, video games and computers during his middle school years and continues these passions today. They are what ultimately led him to obtain his bachelor’s degree in mathematics and master’s degree in analytics from Louisiana State University. 

Today, Jon brings that same problem-solving fire to the world of business intelligence. With an intense desire to develop his skills and understanding of analytics, Jon considers himself a full-fledged data ninja who possesses the programming “weapons” and ninja know-how to overcome any problem. 

When Jon isn’t breathing fire or riding the world of dirty data, you’ll find him learning anything and everything he can get his hands on. He also enjoys exploring new lands, playing putt-putt and, if there is any time left, “Netflixing.”
