Let it SNEAUX... Again!
Here are just a few pictures from today's "snow day" :) It was too cold to go outside, but I got to take photos through the window! :)
They even got some snow in Kenner... The kids built a snowman and got to play in the ice! Glad that they were able to experience it!

Happy Birthday, Mrs. Angela
For Mrs. Angela's birthday, we were "snowed in"! But we still had a good day. Mr. Jon cooked a great lunch (Fish, Pasta, and Carrots) and we sang happy birthday. We just stayed inside all day watching movies and not doing too much. :)

Syd's Shower
Today, we celebrated with Sydnie Shackelton at an Old Fashioned Hen Party that we threw for her. It was a really nice day and Syd got a lot of nice gifts, advice, and recipes! The party was held at Mom's and Dad's house in Baton Rouge. So happy for her and I can not wait til her wedding!

Happy ANEURversary
Today, we celebrated Dad's Life Anniversary. It marked 14 years since he had his cranial aneurysm. Mom, Dad, Steven, and I went to mass and had dinner together at Coyote Blues. We are so blessed to have Dad here with us today.

Let it SNEAUX!!!
Yesterday, school was canceled for an ice day. It was literally FREEZING!! Even though it was cold, we ended up having a really good day. We attempted to build a snowman and played a little in the ice. Because I did not have my camera, I had to used my phone for pictures. Here are a few worth sharing!
Because of the freeze, we were unable to make it to Blake's Birthday Party at Chuck-E-Cheese (we were snowed in - So weird to say...) But we hear that Blake's party was a big success!

Boots on the Beach - 2014
The new year has come and gone... and so has our first vacation of 2014! This past week we spent a few days at Caribe with my parents and brother. It started off a little rocky, but ended up being a great trip (as always!)! It was much too cold to go out on the beach the first couple of days - below freezing!! Although it was freezing, we got to enjoy a cooking class given by a chef that cooks at the Cobalt restaurant, shop, eat, and just relax. It was so nice! As an added bonus, Jon made some delicious Pina Coloadas with his new Margaritaville Drink Machine! On our last full day, Jessica came by since she had driven back to Mobile for school. While she and I enjoyed lunch, shopping, and walking on the beach so I could get some picture of Jess (finally a weather happy day!) Jon practiced for his GRE - which he is taking this week!
Too cold for flip flops! Had to wear our boots on this vacation!
